Europe adventure. Day 2 of 34. Part 1.
Written by the Galway Bay on day 3.
The sun is warm and wonderful, but it is making it difficult to see the screen I am writing on. I have to tell you about yesterday, though! In the morning Sarah made coffee and hard boiled eggs. She was rushing around getting ready for her trip to Brussels, so I got ready to leave and made sure I knew where I was going to meet my next host. Turned out his home in Salt Hill was close to the friend who was taking care of Emily on Sarah's trip, so she offered to give me a ride.
We eventually found Adrian's house and parted ways. I wish I had gotten to spend more time with Sarah, because she was great! But I'm sure I will see her again. Adrian is also a very nice host. After I arrived we went grocery shopping, where I bought some Irish soft cheese and gluten free crackers to snack on. He also helped me find places to buy tickets for day trips out of Galway and helped me decide where I wanted to go. And then we went out to meet the other two surfers who were staying with him!
We met Ariel first, a backpacker with a wave of red curls wearing a purple dress. She is from California, near Disney Land. Then we found Terra, playing a flute in Eyre square. She is from northern California and had just spent two months in Spain and was soon speaking Spanish with Adrian, who is from Mexico.
Adrian loves Galway, it is easy to tell. We don't the afternoon walking around, chatting with one another, seeing the beautiful city. I took a whole lot of pictures, because I felt bad about not taking any the day before. You all will like that, right?
Okay, more later. Gotta go now!
